Review of Bernie (2012) by Tori C — 06 Jan 2013
Surprisingly good film that shows just how well film can be used to manipulate emotion. Jack Black truly impressed me in this one, and Bernie's character was a greatly nuanced role that I truly enjoyed.
Matthew McConaughey also continues on his streak of impressive performances. If you're into dark comedies that also offer a bit of social critique, I would absolutely not miss this one.
