Review of Bernie (2012) by Brad Y — 30 May 2013
If you're looking for a really good movie that you probably haven't heard of, then this is it. Jack Black won a Golden Globe for his role and probably deserved to win more for his portrayal of the funeral director / town activist and over all do-gooder Bernie.
This is a quirky, dark comedy wrapped around a cynical pseudo-documentary based on the real life events.
