Review of Bernie (2012) by Kevin L — 20 Aug 2013
Jack Black demonstrates that he has some wonderful nuanced (yes!) acting chops in this fine film. He really gets under the skin of the character without revealing his true motive. It's a dark story told with a light touch and McConaughy and MacLaine are excellent.
However the real stars are the Texan personalities who really drive the film forward.
