Review of Bernie (2012) by Jake A — 05 Feb 2017
After reading the premise of this film I was expecting a kind of Weekend at Bernie's affair, fortunately it isn't and is a lot more grounded and even though it is darkly comic it doesn't offer up many lighter moments.
The best thing about this film though is the three lead performances with Jack Black leading the way with a fantastic performance. The rest of the cast is solid, I like the docu-drama style of the film, has plenty of funny moments and a good script.
