I feel like I should give it a star for it's occasional good camera angles and dome of the vikings performances but... Well, the storyline and script quite simply rape the original source material.
A half assed attempt at "olde english" with modern profanity thrown in to complete destroy any suspension of disbelief. I'd recomend watching 13th warrior. It's not beowulf but it's a good movie.
