I agree with those that say it drags on and then rushes the end. Also, I see very little the witch brought to the story. She did define Grendl as someone who had been wronged, but the sex scene and the product thereof didn't add to the story.

One review mentions people not getting the movie if they are looking for a hack and slash movie, but that is what the cover synopsis offers you.
