Review of Bent (2018) by Robert B — 05 Jan 2019

I went into it knowing nothing about it. I'm glad, as I enjoyed it for what it was. More drama than action. Although Andy Garcia's role is somewhat small, he delivers a believable and kinda heart breakingingly strong performance.

I like Karl Urban and he was, well, Karl Urban! (Best McCoy ever). It's too bad this film was advertised as some hyped up action flick as I can see why people would have been disappointed. I feel had it been marketed for what it was, it might have done better.

Just a simple good story that, yes, we've all seen before, but to be fair every movie is something we've seen before (if you are old enough!).
