Johnny Depp is energetic and fun in this loopy, goofy, corny movie that somehow manages to come off as pleasant; even when the third act becomes a preposterous mess. Mary Stuart Masterson is also appealing in the lead role of Joon, while Aidan Quinn is annoying as her brother Benny.
Love the final scene, however, which is a cute send-off to a quirky couple.
