Loved the first Apes movie but this sequel suffers from every problem and runs into every obstacle that should persuade someone not to pursue an idea as a follow-up unless you can actually equal the quality of the first.
Cash is Hollywood's god, however, so we have Beneath the Planet of the Apes, anyways, and I'm sure that I'll find none of the other 3 sequels any less impressive.
