Review of Beneath the Planet of the Apes (1970) by Ayrton Anthony C — 24 Jul 2017
A rather different, much more Nietzschean satire of the relations between religion and science than the original. Pretty oddball, very grounded in the concerns of the era it was made in, and likely not everyone's cup of tea as a result, but certainly rather unique and original, and I personally enjoyed it more than I should admit.
