Review of Beneath the Planet of the Apes (1970) by Dan T — 22 Nov 2008
BAD SCIENCE ALERT!!!
WTF??? As I plough through the Apes movie box set there's this... I haven't seen this film for in excess of 25 years.
So the film could not be green lit without Heston. Heston does not what to star. Heston decides to do a favour and star in a reduced role. They then get a Heston clone in to crash land in the future on a rescue mission. The first human he meets? Heston's mute missus... WTF??? That's some shit lazy writing.
And the telepathic mutants singing like a set of banshees whilst worshiping a golden nuke shaped like a high-price-ended dildo???
And that ending - LOL! I was laughing my head off... (btw EVERYONE dies).
Childhood delusions intact.
