Review of Beneath the Planet of the Apes (1970) by Corey N — 05 May 2010
This is the sequel to the first Planet of the Apes film. This time a rescue team is sent to save the original crew. They of course end up much like the first crew when they discover the Apes rule the world.
Heston is back in this with a much smaller role. The first half is much like the original story. Nothing new. The second half is much different but has a poor ending. This has to be the weakest of all the Planet of the Apes movies.
Worth only a watch if your a fan of the series.
