This is the sequel to the 1968 classic "Planet of the Apes". This takes place exactley where the last one left off, as another astronuat crashes onto the planet, looking for Taylor. "Beneath the Planet of the Apes" is an excellent sequel that is more enjoyable than the first one.
James Franciscus is excellent as the astronuat that crashes onto the planet and Charlton Heston, Roddy McDowell, Kim Hunter and Maurice Evans reprise their roles and are excellent. Overall, a great sequel that I'll definitely watch again.
