Review of Beneath the Dark (2010) by Christopher H — 30 Apr 2011
Very slow to start, but with a semi-decent payoff at the end. It's hard to identify strongly with the characters as most of them are pretty despicable, but then that's kind of the point of the film.
Unfortunately I wasn't expecting the glacial pace and so felt a bit bored. Still, some interesting ideas and it ends fairly well, it's just too bad there aren't more hints of similar films that have done better.
