Review of Beneath Hill 60 (2010) by Cale R — 12 Feb 2011
Showed well that in WW1 the war was conducted as much under the trenches as well as in the trenches. Touching film about some Australian sappers who were involved in this. In many ways it indicated the futility of the first world war.
Although they completed their mission very well allowing the allies to take Hill 60. The Germans retook it shortly afterwards. Leaving a lot of dead people on both sides with no real gains for either.
