Review of Beneath Hill 60 (2010) by William M — 05 Jul 2011
This is not a movie for most, based on true events during the Great War the movie follows a Australian mining team that tries to break the stalemate of trench warfare. This is an interesting look at hill 60 famous for the largest man made explosion ever to date.
1917 trench warfare is not pretty so movie is not for kids or the average person. This is for the history or military fan. Well acted average good direction and average script on a great subject could have been better but this is a stretch can't remember last time they made a WWI movie.
