The terrific Parminder K. Nagra, what happened to her, stars as Jess, an Indian girl living in London who idolizes football star David Beckham. With help from her tomboy friend Jules (Keira Knightley) Jess manages to play football without her conservative Indian family knowing.
Then both girls fall head over heals for their coach (and if it's Jonathan Rhys-Meyers who could blame them?) and all hell breaks loose. Its a sweet little coming-of-age movie, one that never feels old or dated.
