Review of Ben-Hur (2016) by Patrick D — 21 Aug 2016

I never saw the original 1959 Ben-Hur so I had nothing to compare it to. I read that Hollywood said this was one expensive flop. I was entertained watching this Sunday afternoon $4.50 matinee. it was a movie about redemption.

I didn't think it was too faith based, even though they did have Jesus crucifixion. The chariot race is at the end. Not Oscar worthy but ok to watch.
