Review of Ben-Hur (2016) by Mike P — 27 Aug 2016

So I've never seen the original and didn't have much expectations going in. With that perspective, I appreciated this movie enough to enjoy it, but I likely won't remember it. The marketing was way off, as it's not all that action packed, but a decent story of 2 brothers (and Jesus).

The horse scenes at the beginning, and the end are very intense, and effective. You know, what, this movie didn't hurt.
