Too many of Hollywood's biblical / historical epics of the 50's and 60's are hardly worth their salt but this "epic of all epics" truly towers above them all. A gripping and powerful story, a strong and impressive cast and ever-staggering set pieces all combined brilliantly to make this multi Oscar-winner work spectacularly.
