Review of Ben-Hur (1959) by Alan T — 24 Feb 2011
The grand-daddy of all epics. A bold, entertaining and artistic force of a film. With scenes of many slaves rowing oars for large naval warships and of the nativity and crucifixion that have been re-imagined in other countless films, the highlight of 'Ben-Hur' is the chariot race: nothing short of awesome.
One of the best films ever made.
