Ben-Hur covers all of its bases: immense scope, still-relevant action sequences, inspired performances, romance, comic relief, and, of course, Jesus Christ. Though lengthy and, at times, troubling slow, Ben-Hur constantly allows you to forgive it faults through sheer passion.
