Review of Ben-Hur (1959) by Raphael Georg K — 06 Apr 2013
The fantastic film that not only marked the history of cinema, but also my life. When I was 9, I've been very interested in watching movies, my parents always recommended me the movie "Ben Hur" and I never got interested. One day, I was watching TV and I stopped at a canal passing old movies when I was about to change the channel looks like something grabbed me and kept watching what was happening in the channel. 4 hours flew by and not even noticed, and I had tears in my eyes.
4 hours of pure excitement with the fantastic story of this unforgettable character. A journey which witnessed horrible things and wonderful miracles, a journey in which I traveled together. The production and direction of the film are fantastic, and the acting nor comments. Charlton Heston is simply fantastic, as in all the films he makes.
As I said before, a movie just FANTASTIC, anyone can attend and witness this MASTERPIECE!
