Charlton Heston's acting isn't the best, but the grandiose spectacle and the 70mm film is a sight to behold on Blu Ray, and expertly crafted for the time. For religious or not ( even though the script is based on fictional events) the story is an empowering tale and a rewarding experience even through the 3 hour plus running time.
