Review of B'ella (2014) by Don P — 25 Jul 2008
This movie is about redemption. Jose seeks to redeem his life by helping Nina in her plight. Although telling a real and compelling story about difficult subjects, the movie avoids graphic sex and violence in favor of revealing human emotion and relationships as well as the real struggles over some tough moral questions.
I admire this movie for it's honesty but also for it's un-Hollywood solution to the character's moral dilemmas. This movie was recommended by the Willow Creek Leadership Event last August.
A well made and meaningful movie.
