Review of B'ella (2014) by Zane U — 11 Jun 2009

As contradictory as it sounds, Bella was, in a way, an ambitious mumblecore movie. There was a definite emotional impact at the end, but I am sure that it could've been maximized if the flashbacks were more evenly scattered throughout the film and the focus was more consistent.

I couldn't help but find the main female character kind of annoying also. All of that said, however, Bella is still a pretty good indie flick that has flown well under the radar.
