Film as depicting real life. I will most certainly look forward to more inspiring work from alejandro monteverde even though last time I said that it was about jane campion and I was disappointed. I think he has the potential to become a high brow spike lee to latino genre films.
this film is not about racial tensions however. it's about life changing moments, dealing with pain and overcoming adversity. kindness, forgiveness and friendship. truly inspiring and emotionally captivating.
