Admittedly, I did not watch the full four hours. I probably watched just over half. But, if this is a good example of silent documentaries, I'm not sure that they are my cup of tea. I appreciate being able to candidly look at the lives of ordinary people but Wiseman's presentation just gets boring really quickly.
Perhaps I am not the intended audience?
