Review of Being There (1979) by David S — 28 Nov 2016
I know it's a bit on the slow side (pun partially intended) but there's no need to rush a piece of genius like this. Peter Sellers is brilliant. He shows us that if a political messiah came who had the ability to bring out the best in all of us, there'd be no way to tell the difference between him and the biggest dullard the world has ever known.
By the end of the movie we have to ask ourselves exactly who is Chance?
