...well, I saw a few over the week. Brownie Point opportunity #2: Name the song that contains the lyrics in my title. Good song. The second stanza sort of mirrors my morning routine.

Sorry about the delay, ladies and gentlemen, but I've been convincing myself that I've been busy lately. Being neglectful of my journal was a step in the direction of feeling very busy. I'm trying to collect everything I need for my transfer application while juggling these two hectic weeks before spring break.

Over the past week and a half, I've done a lot and been to a few places (like my glorious return Manhattan for a couple hours for Thai food and a film) that are wholly worth writing about. However, there is this thing called a memory, and mine has been a bit lacking lately. Especially when recalling life experiences. I haven't forgotten the structure of these events, but the nuances that make them particularly special were unfortunately lost in time. I used to be good at randomly writing down all my thoughts, not matter where I was (I have gum wrappers filled with words). I should start carrying around a pen and paper again. But it makes my pocket so bulky...grrr. Anyway, I'm sure you would prefer me doing that. In that case, you would get to read about the poetry of my everyday life instead of this paragraph long excuse as to why I have nothing good to say.

For my application, Emerson asked if I could gather my mid-semester grades. This week, I passed the paper to four of my five teachers, and here were my grades:

Western Civ II: "Grade not available due to lack of tests; However, Nick easily grasps complicated material and has an eagerness to discuss his thoughts.".

Second Level Spanish: A.

Sociology Seminar: (I have this tomorrow).

Intro to Film: A.

Texts and Contexts: A.

How awesome is that! I'm really hoping I am accepted to Emerson. Oh, that reminds me, I need to write another short answer essay. Gah!

I will edit with movie thoughts soon.
