Review of Being Julia (2004) by Terry I — 20 Feb 2010
I thought it was a very drab, period piece with little to no moments of inspiration or passion. annette bening, shockingly, was overacted and a bore. (I still think her work in American Beauty is easily one of the best performances Ive ever seen period.
) I got lost in the plot, mainly because of the flat characters and horrible dialogue. I feel like i'm being harsh, but nothing worked for me - aside from the ending.
