Review of Being John Malkovich (1999) by Michael A — 06 May 2014
- Brilliantly portrayed and acted as well as being amazingly innovative and creative!
- One of very few movies I've seen that was both deeply touching and dark, but also comedic in a sense and lighthearted at times...and the timing between those two different moods...impeccable! It could literally go from sad once instance to funny the next. Maybe that's just my dark sense of humor talking though.
- One of the only movies I've seen in a long while that actually touches on things you wouldn't think it would, and, as such, come 'full circle' (if you will). Some of those being the ulcer on the chimp, the receptionist and her relationship with the boss, etc.
