Review of Beijing Bicycle (2001) by Zack Z — 16 Nov 2007
An interesting spin on Vittorio De Sica's "Bicycle Thief", it's a little hard to watch since the characters you get really close to get their asses handed to them in just about every scene during the second half of the movie.
Still, it's worth seeing, especially if you're a fan of Chinese cinema and/or Italian neorealist cinema.
