Review of Beijing Bicycle (2001) by Eve T — 03 Jan 2008
Although somewhat underwritten and a bit slow, Beijing Bicycle is still a very interesting film guided by a single concept, yet explores some interesting notions of modern Chinese society and social themes.
The overall mood is set pretty well with its poetic music and nice scenery. It's not one of the best Chinese films around, but still worth a look.
