Review of Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon (2006) by Scott E — 19 Dec 2007
Nothing short of a modern classic. A brilliant post-modernist satire on the slasher genre which uses every single convention against you. The mockumentary aspect falls well short of the standard set by Chris Morris and co, but it's still funny as hell without ever feeling like a 'Scream Clone'.
Almost my fav slasher of the year.
