Review of Behind the Candelabra (2013) by Sean F — 12 Jun 2013
Stylish and brilliantly camp. Douglas is phenomenal and Damon shines along side him and the chemistry between the two was electric at times. Some genuine moments of hilarity. Great touching, personal story telling. Rob Lowe is also hilarious in his supporting role.
The break up and AIDS onset were unfortunately rushed though.
It was a nice surprise to see such a full audience for a smaller scale film too.
