Review of Behind the Candelabra (2013) by Bradley W — 03 Feb 2014
If this is to be the final film of soderbergh, then he goes out on a high note, I knew next to nothing about liberace going in, but douglas does a great job depicting him, I guess it's fitting douglas played him, usually such a suave ladies man, why cant he be a mans man, damon is good, tho it's essentially the straight man role, rob lowe looks so bizarre as the plastic surgeon, reynolds tho doesnt have much to do as the mom and seems wasted, definitely worth seeing just for douglas' performance alone.
