It's a gentle movie about two very brittle, delicate people. they don't always get on, but they keep choosing to stay together over the course of the night; gradually a bond forms between them that will last the rest of their lives.
eventually all good things must end, and our protagonists have to choose to abandon their present lives or go their separate ways.
