Perfect film with perfect cinematography, perfect direction, perfect performances, perfect love story. The actors are so natural you don't even think for a second you're watching a movie. The conversations between Jesse and Celine are so heartfelt and smart.
You know these two are soulmates, they know they are and they only have one night together. This couple is perfect together, they are made for each other and they complement one another perfectly, but it is extremely short-term.
What I love most about this film is that in the course of less than two hours (or half a day) you see the excitement, the longing, the goodbye of a relationship. Like the tagline says: "Can the greatest romance of your life only last one night?" For these two the answer is 'absolutely'.
