Review of Before Sunrise (1995) by Dan R — 26 Dec 2012
An evenly acted love story meandering through essential questions of life and some of the more obscure ones too. Combining tragedy, hope, warmth and new love and experience Linklater gives us a very human portrait of relationships.
The films visuals are nice but it is Linklaters vision and screenwriting that really brings the intelligence and realism of the film to the table. Hawke and Delpy are natural and comical in their roles helping us to relate, which is one of the greatest attributes of any romance.
