Review of Before Sunrise (1933) by Calvin C — 01 Jun 2013
I consider this quite possibly the best love story I have ever watched. The chemistry between Jessie and Celine is both believable and blistering hot, set up through fantastic, sometimes interesting, sometimes witty, but almost always heartfelt banter.
The movie's construction on paper as a script could not possibly do the actual movie justice because there is something deeper in this piece that makes it work more profoundly than just the sum of its parts.
No doubt it is helped by fantastically strong performances on both accounts, but the little things make this movie both highly believable and a true delight to watch.
