Review of Before Night Falls (2000) by Becky C — 19 Jun 2008
This surprisingly captured my attention. Julian Schnabel made a visually gorgeous movie and combined it with Carter Burwell's lush score. And Javier Bardem is just awesome in the lead role. The plot is a little confusing and Sean Penn has a really stupid accent, but in general, this movie was pretty good.
