Schnabel is jointly the single most exciting director in cinema along side Fernando Merrielles... the future is bright.
This film is amazing... I just didnt find the subject matter really engaged with me.
Schnabel is a Twyker/Herzog/Gondry/Jonze amalgamation, a real new force in the world of cinema, a genius.
The very thought that he almost helmed Perfume would have sky rocketed that film past its own peak of genius.
