Brutally honest and beautifully done. Taken mostly from "Before Night Falls" but with references to "Singing from the Well" and "Color of Summer." Javier Bardem was rightly nominated for the Best Actor Oscar.
Reinaldo Arenas revealed deep, raw humanity. And Julian Schnabel captures that skillfully and artistically.
