Review of Before Night Falls (2000) by Niki A — 10 Feb 2012
A very vibrant and beautifully shot film about the life of Reinaldo Arenas. They did a decent job at adapting his biography though much was missing and some of the added stuff (i.e. Johnny Depp's drag queen character) was kind of irritating though it helped fuel the plot along.
Look out for an almost completely unrecognizable Sean Penn in a brief cameo role.
