Review of Before Midnight (2013) by Cedric L — 05 Apr 2016
Director and Co-Writer Richard Linklater is awesome and "Before Midnight" is a captivating end to a fantastic trilogy. Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy who once again wrote their own dialogue have real moments that real couples have. The wording is so seamless that you lose yourself and feel like the characters on the screen are a reality show. Linklater's direction and his ability to film very long one camera walk and talk and drive and talk shots are a thing of beauty and the depth of the two characters is thoroughly fleshed out.
Do yourself a favor and watch the trilogy from start to finish one night. It's great work from all involved.
