Review of Before Midnight (2013) by Ted N — 31 Jan 2014
Two self-obsessed characters, now in their 40s but still both irritating beyond belief, spend a third film in which THEY NEVER STOP TALKING. Meanwhile, other characters, all rather irritating, also talk, about nothing interesting, in a highly written and mannered way.
So what is it about? Relationships. And what causes them to go wrong. The fact that it might be 'never shutting up' never occurs to anyone though.
