Review of Before Midnight (2013) by Pampalini L — 11 May 2014
The first two 'Before' movies were abundant helpings of existential optimism. The third is where the devil pops up with a snicker on his face and hands you the bill.
As expected, the creative team of Linklater, Hawke, and Delpy does another remarkable job of packaging the full spectrum of human emotions. The dialogue is perhaps the sharpest of the whole trilogy, likely thanks to the real life experience gained by the writers over the past two decades.
