Review of Before Midnight (2013) by Alex S — 03 Aug 2014
Many won't like Richard Linklater's typical cynical take on relationships, love, and marriage, but Linklater truly understands what all those things are about. In this third installment, he surpasses the first two with more substance and such a realistic script that I think everyone can relate to.
With even better performances and a more daring approach on the subject matter, Richard Linklater has proven to be one of, if not, the best director of the modern generation. An absolutely fantastic movie.
