Review of Before Midnight (2013) by Seth M — 10 Aug 2014
The best movie in the "Before" franchise. These characters are the most mature, realistic and inspirational they have ever been. They have settled into who they are, not just with each other, but the world itself.
The film shows life still isn't the way they want/pictured it and that it's not easy making choices for yourself or your family. "Midnight" shows what life is and has been for these two, all in the course of a day.
What a beautiful, funny, and exceptional addition to Mr. Linklater's canon.
